Since 2011, choreographer James Singleton aka SugEasy has created hip-hop performances at the annual stage productions at The Culture House in Overland Park, KS. His dance production Respect My Elements explores the evolution of hip-hop dance by presenting its separate components one by one through demonstration and participation, then bringing them all together, the different layers culminating in a classic hip-hop jam.
