The apprentice troupe of the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Team Shakespeare is open to students aged 12-18 who have completed a year of Shakespeare Conservatory. Staging scenes from some of the Bard’s best-known plays and combining them with improvisation and other participatory activities, Team Shakespeare’s performances are characterized by harnessing its teenage performers’ energy and imagination with a focused dedication to the timeless monologues, scenes and verse of the greatest playwright in the English language.
