Aryana Nemati

Kansas City native Aryana Nemati plays saxophone, flute and clarinet. She began studying with local baritone saxophonist/composer Kerry Strayer, and received her bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance/Studio Music at the Conservatory of Music and Dance in 2014, and a master’s degree in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2017. She performs regularly with reggae, ska, jazz, salsa, Motown, and funk bands, and records with many local artists.
