Janelle Monáe

A singer, songwriter, performer, actor and producer, Janelle Monáe released her highly-anticipated third solo album, Dirty Computer, in April. Immersed in the performing arts at a young age in Kansas City, KS, Monáe released her critically acclaimed debut album ArchAndroid in 2010, earning her two Grammy nominations, including one for the song Tightrope. 2013 saw the release of her sophomore album, The Electric Lady, and in 2015, Monáe launched her very own label, Wondaland Records. The following year Janelle Monáe starred in two major studio movies, Hidden Figures and Moonlight.
