Archive of Mind

South Korean artist a Kimsooja is internationally acclaimed for her work, which combines performance, video, photography, and site-specific installations that incorporate light and sound. Kimsooja’s work reaches into conceptual and experiential domains latent in our surroundings, nudging us toward an intensified awareness of our individual selves and our relationships with others. Her Kansas City installation consists of the participatory project Archive of Mind, most recently shown in 2017 in the exhibition Intuition at Palazzo Fortuny in Venice, Italy.
