Blue River Wonder Walk

Brooklyn-based artist Matthew Jensen’s interdisciplinary practice combines photography with walking, mapping,collecting and a rigorous exploration of landscapes. An artist-in-residence with the New York City Urban Field Station, Jensen’s projects strive to reveal hidden wonders and forgotten histories residing in parks and local landscapes. His Open Spaces research has culminated in the design and printing of The Blue River Wonder Walk, a walker’s guide and map to the Blue River waterway as it passes through (and beyond) Swope Park.
