Born in Morrilton, AR in 1995 and raised in Kansas City, KS, Aaron Alexander caught the Kansas City hip-hop community by surprise in 2015 with his mixtape tribute to Jean-Michel Basquiat, Wild Child. His introspective, anime-inspired debut album, Memento Mori, came out in 2017 to wide critical praise, with his socially conscious, intelligent lyrics and tough yet unforced delivery over jazz-centric production, drawing particular attention.
