Initiated in 2006 by Kansas City musician and composer Brad Cox, the People’s Liberation Big Band is a 15-piece jazz ensemble that performs in both seated formal settings as well as more site-specific deployments for outdoors events. In honor of Labor Day, PLBB will present a one-day-only concert program based on the theme of work.
