Heartland Men’s Chorus
From its formation in 1986 with 30 singers, and its importance as a safe community oasis at the height of the AIDS crisis, the Heartland Men’s Chorus has grown to 120 singers, and today plays a vital part in Kansas City’s arts and cultural scene. To close out Open Spaces, HMC presents From the Heart, a program that includes audience favorites from years past, and features Kansas City musician and songwriter Mark Hayes, one of the chorus’ most beloved collaborators.
