Mucca Pazza
An interdisciplinary instrumental music and performance ensemble formed in Chicago in 2004 and consisting of 30 active members, Mucca Pazza’s performance style is informed by physical theater, and their instrumentation loosely conforms to that of a traditional American marching band, with the addition of electric guitar, mandolin, violin, cello, accordion and cheerleaders. Typically wearing mismatched marching band uniforms, Mucca Pazza’s energetic performances of original music are legendary.
